USS Lexington
Today Mike and I went to the USS Lexington, a WWII aircraft carrier. It always helps going to see stuff like that with your own personal tour guide who knows EVERYTHING about history AND the Navy.
Although I did thoroughly enjoy the historical experience, I mostly enjoyed the photographic experience...

what a great shot that first one is! the flight deck looks awsome too! isn't it amazing we know 2 pilots who actually fly those incredible machines...and all to serve our country and keep us safe. i have great respect and appreciation for them.
